Our commitment

We do not sell, share or monetize personal data. We collect what is needed to provide NovaRMM and nothing else. NovaRMM is operated by Anjuta Software - FZCO.

Who decides what is collected from a machine

NovaRMM is a tool an organisation uses to manage its own computers. The organisation that enrolled a machine decides who may connect to it and what they do there, and is responsible for telling the people who use that machine. We process that data on the organisation's behalf.

Account data

For an operator account we store the email address, the display name, the sign-in methods you set up (a password hash, passkeys, two-step verification), your active sessions with their device and IP address, and your membership of workspaces. You can change or remove these from Your account.

Machine data

An enrolled machine reports its name, operating system, hardware and installed software, the signed-in user's name, and periodic measurements of CPU, memory and disk use. Process lists, event logs and shell output are fetched when an operator asks for them.

Remote sessions

The screen, sound, keyboard, mouse and clipboard of a remote session travel between the machine and the operator's browser over an encrypted WebRTC connection. Our servers set that connection up and do not carry or see the screen.

Remote sessions are recorded. The recording is made in the operator's browser and stored on our servers for the organisation that owns the session.

Connecting to a computer by its ID

A computer that runs NovaRMM without being enrolled has a Computer ID. A connection to it starts only after the person at the computer approves it, or with the password they set for unattended access.

Analytics and cookies

The console carries no tracking scripts, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers. Cookies are used only to keep you signed in.

Data retention

Raw machine measurements are kept for 7 days and summarised after that. Inventory is kept while the machine is enrolled. Account data is kept while the account exists.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal data, correct it, or ask for your account and its data to be deleted by writing to info@novarmm.com.
